Gaile Valcho grew up in New York and moved to Holly Springs with her husband Matt and son Brady in 2016 from Parkland, Florida. She graduated from the University of Central Florida with a BS in Forensic Anthropology. She then attended Florida Atlantic University, where she received her MBA. In addition to her role at HANDS assisting families with finding community resources and hosting parent support groups, Gaile is an autism speaker and advocate.
Her journey into autism advocacy began when her son Brady was diagnosed with autism at 2 ½ years old. Her passion for helping families and children with autism led her and her husband to start the Holly Springs Autism Acceptance Day. In 2021, they established The Brady Valcho Autism Foundation, a 501 © non-profit that provides free trainings to first responders on how to engage with children and adults on the autism spectrum in our community. She has also created an autism sensory tool bag for schools and law enforcement agencies. Gaile completed a Master IEP Coach certification in 2021. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with family, running with friends, watching football, and traveling.
