Gena Baillie grew up in Wake Forest, NC, and moved to Winston Salem before relocating to Raleigh to be closer to her family. While studying fashion merchandising at Forsyth Community College, Gena was presented with an offer to join the workforce as an assistant buyer, marking the beginning of her career. With over 20 years of experience in the medical field, Gena has found some of her most fulfilling moments in roles that allow her to connect with children on a daily basis. Outside of work, Gena’s favorite way to unwind is at the beach. Gena says she always has her beach chair ready to go! As an avid sports fan, Gena is passionate about the NFL, college football, and basketball. Although her daughters graduated from UNC, she has always been and will always be a passionate Duke fan!
